As theatre consultants and designers, we provide guidance, advice and support to owners, architects, and the design teams on the feasibility, planning, design, and equipping of theatres, concert halls, dance clubs, multimedia facilities and other types of complexes used for public assembly and the performing arts.
We offer our experience in the form and function of the performing space and to adhere to the owner's goals of design and program requirements. We keep apprised of the latest technologies, associated costs, and environmental impacts that must be considered in the design and formation of a public assembly facility.
From theatres on land to theatres at sea, NED has designed facilities with unique needs to give the audience and performer a space where magic can occur. From the large showroom for seating of 1,400 to the intimate cabaret of 100, we have designed and consulted on well over one-hundred theatres, showrooms, cabarets and lounges.
We also specialize in consulting and design for atypical public spaces. We work with the owners and architects to equip the facility to make it comfortable and intriguing for the visitor using the latest in lighting, sound, projection and video display systems.
